While I'm sure they exist here and there, I haven't seen a "pack of wild dogs" in this country in my entire 44 years of living up and down the east coast from top to bottom and decades now here in Chicago after being born here in 64....
This isn't Iraq or Kenya the last time I checked, (yet our so called president is Kenyan and won't admit it) although it's becoming more and more third world here with each passing day, which is what I think of when I hear the phrase "pack of wild dogs"...
In fact here's a pic from the African Bushland where these dog packs are far more common....
Don't see too many of these walking the streets of Chicago or any other place I've ever lived...and that includes Greenville SC, Naggs Head NC, Athens GA outside of Atlanta, Jacksonville Fl and on and on...maybe you'll see this after a natural disaster like Katrina but not too often otherwiseSo in closing..May the poor victims of this strange occurrence at least rest in peace is all one can say at this point after such a strange passing.
My Way News -"LEXINGTON, Ga. (AP) - Officials in northeast Georgia are scouring the area where an elderly couple was killed to find the last few dogs suspected in the deadly attack.
Preliminary autopsy results show 77-year-old Lothar Karl Schweder and his 65-year-old wife, Sherry, died of injuries related to multiple animal bites.
Authorities rounded up about 11 dogs on Monday and returned to the area Tuesday to find four more spotted by a deputy.
Authorities say it appears the pack of wild dogs attacked Sherry Schweder as she walked a dirt road near her house. They say it appears her husband later went looking for her and was also attacked by the dogs.
The Humane Society says federal statistics show an average of 16 people die each year from dog bites."
