Of course we know the US stance on negotiating with hostages was essentially no talk, no tolerance in previous administrations. However, in the new and improved "We Do Everything Wrong" America which Obama has been projecting around the world, he may just offer a tea sit down to talk about what's bothering the poor "Talibanners" as I mockingly refer to these Afghani terrorists know as the Taliban and what we can do to make their caves more comfortable and the likes.
Just hope and pray while the administration sends out nasty letters and threats of neutered UN involvement, this poor, brave man doesn't meet the same fate as so many other proud and entrepreneurial American's killed at the hands of REAL TORTURE.
Killings and kidnappings mostly administered in the lawless aftermath of the initial ground invasion.
An invasion which we now know unleashed the 4 year fury of an insurgency that was obviously mis-underestimated (Bushim of coarse), yet their defeat was not made any easier, and actually encouraged by much of the unneeded partisan politics and enemy comforting dissent emanating from within our own borders, which is another story for another day we've all heard before anyways.
The kind of despicable torturous acts we've witnessed being applied to our people captured over there, such as beheadings, the actual burning of living and breathing mostly American human beings, for starters. As opposed to watered down definition which the left has redefined to encompass anything nowadays from too short of haircuts at Gitmo along with improperly catered meals, krinkled Koran pages and the likes.
Afghanistan Video:Taliban releases video of captured US soldier
That is contrary to the comparative child's play known as waterboarding the left thinks is too rough on the poor Islamic Jihader's, along with some other non lethal techniques formerly used on these killer terrorists, who were only subjected to in order to keep them from killing more innocent Americans and others just like you and I as they already demonstrated they're capable on 911 and other deadly occasions too numerous to begin to even think about counting.
Officials: Taliban video shows captive soldier
‘I’m scared,’ American missing in Afghanistan tells his captors
MSNBC The American soldier who went missing June 30 from his base in eastern Afghanistan and was later confirmed captured, appeared on a video posted Saturday to a Web site by the Taliban, two U.S. defense officials confirmed. The soldier is shown in the 28-minute video with his head shaved and the start of a beard.
