"Sentences for teens who assaulted Seattle cop angers fellow officers" Angers We American's Too

3 Seattle teens get a wrist slap for assaulting a police officer and trying to grab the officer's weapon from loony King County Superior Court Judge Chris Washington, and naturally as a result, the Seattle PD feels as if they just received a golden shower from the liberal judge who the Seattle Times endorsed for the elected position in 2004 with praise that included this top qualification amongst his jurist experience

"Washington has also raised more than 20 times the money Moore has, and he has a higher rating from the local bar association."

Nice that the amount of money raised by a judge is a main qualification for his or her election/appointment.

I can't help but wonder how this judge will feel the next time one of these punks assaults another person or even another police officer, and God forbid it would be with a gun or other deadly weapon since neither of the three have any respect for the men and women in blue, and now know the liberal judges in their town are handing out candy store sentences for assaulting them.

Seattle Times Newspaper: "Angry police say a judge sent a terrible message on Friday when he told three teens they wouldn't spend additional time behind bars for an attack on a fellow officer in West Seattle last year.

The three teens — two boys and a girl — were given sentences by a judge that ranged from 30 days in juvenile lockup for a boy convicted of third-degree assault to 75 hours of community service for the girl who was convicted of obstruction.

The second boy was also convicted of obstruction and sentenced to 30 days.

But because of the time they have already spent in juvenile jail, King County Superior Court Judge Chris Washington determined that the boys will not have to spend any more time behind bars and credited them for the 59 days they'd already served in detention.

The girl did not spend any days in custody, prosecutors said.

All three teens got 12 months of probation and the boy who kicked the officer was ordered to attend anger-management classes.

Officers who attended the hearing said they felt betrayed." continued
