With all these men claiming they're doing such a great job here in Chicago, what real tangible gains have they made in their own communities and backyards that entitle them to take their so called social template to a national level and stage as they now have with Obama as their fearless leader? Absolutely None.
Starting with 508 murders in 16 short months of not gangbangers and drug dealers but innocent inner city children, and there's a lot more blame to go around than picking the same old tired target, guns, when it's the people in those communities doing the killing not the weapons.
We have as many weapons here in the suburbs if not more because they're legal number one, yet no killlings of kids going to school every day, or kids getting shot eating breakfast in their own kitchens, so what's the problem, you figure it out. The discourse in Chicago has worsened over the past ten years as the aforementioned men have been in charge of much of Chicago's inner city neighborhoods and yet they get promoted to the national scene with nary a success to show in their names. Go figure that one out.
Those slugs from our city are now in charge of the country, not just this little dangerous hell hole and third world murder capital they've bolted for greener pastures, but in the charge of the entire country now, only coming back to their home here to raise money and talk about how great they're doing. Hell Obama still owes this city 1.7 million dollars for his Grant Park Sermon on election night, money that could be spent on more police and more camera's in these deadly neighborhoods around here.
You folks out there wanted this defective, ass backward bunch in charge, and after only 50 days everyone's already scared to the bone about Obama's lack of prowess doing anything of note in regards to the financial crisis. The confusion and mess hasn't even started yet, mark this Chicagoan's word as I sit safely 10 miles out of the perimeter of danger I can see the problems better from the outside. Just liek we warned you all before we're warning you again, these problems if not in your cities yet will soon arrive as the country falls into economic despair thanks to Obama's on the job training and failures.
Just you wait when he starts bringing his failed urban social policies to your cities around the country, when you too will then be scared shitless every time your little Johnny or Susie leaves your arms for what may be the last time, and that's just sending them off to school in the morning. Just like these poor inner city people of Chicago are every morning day and night, people that Obama and friends have nary lifted their fingers to help when they were right here in the middle of it all, other than blaming everyone else but themselves, usually the white man and women for the problems they suffer. And they're gonna fix it all now from a thousand miles away in Washington? I don't think so.
They've banned handguns throughout the city, going against the constitution to do so, all the while blaming all these urban murders on the weapons instead of the people who who are using them who also voted over and over for those losers I listed up above. Men who've never improved anything they're ever involved with in any significant way, and what they get in return for their loyalty to these egomaniacs is Obama and his Chicago crew abandoning the frickin mess they made here to recreate it on a national level to a new group of suckers who bought the same bill of goods these poor people here did. Isn't that swell.
People who were conned around the country into asking, no begging for these bums, well now you got them. Good luck and God bless, just make sure to hug those children whenever you can as every single time they leave the house they could end up just like these poor little Obama, Rush or Emmanuel constituents as well Farrakhan, Jackson parishioners, all DEAD before the 5th grade thanks to all the Hope and Change here in Chicago..
508 Chicago School Students Shot In Schools Over 16 Month Period
WBBM-TV Local CoverageTwenty-five Chicago Public School students have been murdered this year. As shocking as that number is, there is another figure that's very disturbing as well: the number of students who have been shot in a 16-month period is enough to fill an elementary school - 508 students, according to school officials. CBS station WBBM-TV in Chicago's Chief Correspondent Jay Levine asks why, and what is being done to stop it.
Think about it. By this time tomorrow, odds are at least one Chicago Public School student will have been shot. By this time next week, there'll be seven. It's a staggering, frightening, shameful statistic that judging from the reaction we got, those who could do something aren't anxious to talk about.
"No one really wants to address this but we need to call for a state of emergency," said Pastor Roosevelt Watkins.
Chicago Public School students are relatively safe until they leave school, but after that, the closer to home, stats show, the more dangerous it is.
We wanted to talk with Brian Samuels, the school official analyzing the data. He wasn't available.
An alternative to drugs, guns and violence is an after-school program at the Bethlehem Star Missionary Baptist Church where virtually every one of the kids have been touched by that violence.
"This place is a safe haven for them, and that's why they attend here on a regular basis," Pastor Watkins said.
When asked how many of the students know a friend or relative who has been shot - slowly, the hands go up. When five of seven children raise their hands, you know there's a problem.
"My uncle got shot right in front of our building, while we were playing basketball. I was kind of scared 'cause he was a family member, and I didn't want him to die," said 14-year-old Davell Jackson. "I was kind of frightened that I could have got shot too."
"My cousin, he was driving, and somebody shot at his car, and he flew out the window and he was killed," said 13-year-old Alvin Howard.
Not far from the church, on Friday night, an 18-year-old CPS graduate was shot and killed. It was just weeks after his 17-year-old brother was among three young men murdered by an alleged gunman just recently acquitted of murder - within view of a police blue light camera, which anonymous officers on the Internet claim are all too often being used to replace a shrinking force of street cops.
"It's like rarely do you see a police officer drive by," said 12-year-old Beverly Lambert.
WBBM-TV wanted to speak with Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis about the startling statistics, but we were told by an aide that after leaving federal court Monday morning, he was too busy.
But it's not only a police problem.
"There's a fear in the neighborhood because the people fear retaliation," Pastor Watkins said. "We need to go back to the old school way where we had neighbors knowing each other, building neighborhood block clubs."
There's plenty of blame to go around - from neighbors' blind eyes to broken families to schools without truant officers to police manpower. Until everyone starts working together, joining forces instead of pointing fingers, the shooting will undoubtedly continue.
