Can't make these poor kids and their teachers suffer through a early morning school regimen the day after the Super Bowl now can we? The game will be over at 10:30 est or so and yet these slugs are allowing the schools to show up two hours late Monday because of a damn football game disrupting the schedules of the whole city work force by two hours. This would be unheard of even 10 years ago.
No late start Monday in Chicago after the Bears first Super Bowl Win, or their embarrassing loss a few years ago and I know that much 'cause I was at Super Bowl 20 to see the historic Bears Blowout and flew red eye back with 2 friends to get home from New Orleans and get 2 hours sleep before work that morning.
America gets her priorities straight again I guess. Party First, Work Later, Bow to The Celebrity Culture.

Great message to the kids of the world ........Here's 200,00 hits on how great the public schools of Pennsylvania are doing so they can all kick back and show up late after football games and such....City schools to have 2-hour delay day after Super Bowl:
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette"The Pittsburgh Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Monday because of the Super Bowl, Superintendent Mark Roosevelt said today.
Noting that Sunday's big game means a 'late night,' Mr. Roosevelt said the delay should cut down on student and staff absenteeism.
He said the district operated on a two-hour delay the day after the Steelers won the Super Bowl three years ago.
