So yesterday they were slapping "BLIZZARD WARNINGS" all over the media from tv to digital wall to wall minute to minute only for all to wake up this morning to find out they're now saying....".ah, forget it... we were just kidding. Everything's just like it was when you went to bed last night, sorry for the bad dreams and inconveniences".
Here's last night's local Chicago ("going to bed" for most) late news weather reports that were completely inaccurate, as only a mere piddly 1/10th of an inch of snow fell across the area overnight with no wind whatsoever to speak of, none as I type at 06:17 am this morning..A clue for what's ahead comes in the street report where the reporter looks around and goes "well, there's nothing happening now Joe and Susie, but eh...." see for yourself
This is exactly why I will or would never believe any scientist or meteorologist telling me that global warming or any other significant long term weather patterns are cause for us to alter our everyday ways of life. All based on the word of these very same people who told us last night to brace for a blizzard that never came, or even worse, ignorant a holes like Al Gore who only stand to financially benefit from this chicken little crapola and know jack diddle about meteorology and probably less than even you or I know from blogging research about the scandalous movement .
Blizzard Warning Canceled,
cbs2chicago.com: "CHICAGO (CBS) ―The combination of snow and strong winds Monday night into Tuesday morning prompted the National Weather Service to issue a winter weather advisory for the Chicago area. A new blizzard watch has been issued for Wednesday as area residents are urged to brace for severe cold.
Area residents will have to contend with blowing snow, low visibility and low wind chills throughout the week. The winter storm has so far dropped 1 to 3 inches across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana.
This point in January is usually the coldest in the year for Chicago, and this week will live up to it, CBS 2 Meteorologist Ed Curran reports. At 5 a.m. Tuesday wind chills in the area ranged from -3 degrees in DeKalb to 3 degrees at O'Hare. Temperatures will fall throughout the day to about 5 degrees, Curran said. continued
