There's not a more despised guy in the media by everyone but far left liberals that they could've dug from a grave anywhere than David Gregory, an absolute disgrace the NBC News department has morphed into, they should simply give themselves the call letters DNC while they're at this game any further.
What a lineup here, Chris Matthews, David Gregory, Keith Olbermann, Briuan Williams, that woman Andrea Mitchell for starters!! Where in the world is there any semblance of balance here with that lg tingling crew? How brutal can they be at this place, are they so completely out of touch with reality they actually think this is even close to watchable by anyone but Daily Kos blog readers? I guess, as we can as good as say goodbye to this company within 12 months is my bet, despite the fact that for kissing Obama's scrotum during the campaign they've secured a massive amount of bailout money from the feds last time I heard the news .
Even Gregory buddy Don Imus had to tear into the guy a while back, you can listen to his seemingly drunken interview on the old MSNBC Imus in the morning here...
Not to mention the time he embarrassingly got into it with Scott McClellan in a press briefing when Dick Cheney accidentally shot a hunting companion to the delight of the likes of Gregory, what an ass.
David Gregory fills 'Meet the Press' role:
"NEW YORK -- NBC News chief White House correspondent David Gregory has been named the moderator of 'Meet the Press,' replacing the late Tim Russert in what is one of TV's top jobs.
Gregory had been long been rumored to be taking over the moderator's job, as recently as this week when word leaked out of 30 Rock that he was being given the job. But NBC continued to deny it until Sunday morning, when interim moderator Tom Brokaw could hand over the reins after his high-profile interview with President-elect Barack Obama.
Financial terms of the deal weren't announced. But it locks up the 38-year-old Gregory, who has been an important face of NBC News and MSNBC, for the long term and gives the top-rated Sunday public-affairs show continued stability after what had been the trauma of Russert's passing in June.
Gregory beat out a number of other contenders for the job, including NBC News political director Chuck Todd and PBS' Gwen Ifill.
'Today we hand the program over to someone who has a true appreciation and respect for the 'Meet the Press' legacy, and a keen sense of what it needs to be in the future,' NBC News president Steve Capus said."
