This would be mostly thanks to Chicago's ridiculous welcome wagon sanctuary city policy that brings the illegals here from around the globe by the overfilled vanfulls, rendering our beloved Chicagoland area more a home away from home for every group of peoples fro Russia to Mexico than Leningrad or Tijuana than the beautiful American community I grew up in 40 years ago....
Today it's more like "Welcome to Chicago, Your Hell Away From Your Homeland"...or damn close to it. Uno Momento Press One For English......
Excuse me, gas is at 4.18 regular this morning for me at a shell station located in Lake County, adjacent to the hellhole known as Cook County where it's pushing $4.50 in many spots.
This is thanks to Mayor Daley and Crook County Commissioner ToddStroger who's recent pocket digging legislation now provides Chicagoans and our flummoxed visitors with the highest sales taxes in the nation for the privilege of living in Tijuana of the northern hemisphere.
How I'd love to take that laughing and smiling sh**head pictured above into the nearest back alley and knock that smile right off his face straight back to his childhood. You'd be smiling too if you had that brother's job and bankbook courtesy me and all the other residents of Cook County he fist f***s day in and day out.
Forbes ranks Chicago most stressful city -
America's Most Stressful Cities - Forbes.com: "Record weekend rainfall isn't the only thing worrying Windy City residents.
Chicago's rising unemployment rate, expensive gas, high population density and relatively poor air quality create a perfect storm of stress, according to measures we used to calculate the country's anxiety hot spots.
New Yorkers can relate. Locals in the country's most densely packed metro have to fiercely compete for subway seats, cabs, apartments, elite preschools, dinner reservations and bartenders' attention. This constant grind compounds the area's other anxiety factors including costly housing (the country's third least affordable) and allergy-inducing pollution. Throw in Wall Street's woes, and you've got a Molotov cocktail of concern.
Detroit, Mich., Los Angeles, Calif., and San Francisco, Calif., ranked third, fourth and fifth, respectively." continued
