Chicago Republicans Shell Out The Dough For McCain & Palin Monday

Contrary to popular belief there are many conservatives here in the Windy City and most of those including myself are working very hard to make sure that so called favorite son Barack Hussein Obama gets nowhere near the White House as the official occupant as the last time I checked he's got some unfinished business here in Illinois as he owes us about 3 years worth of senatorial pay that he hasn't lifted one little finger to earn since his election 3 years ago.

Many of us clearly remember Obama promising he would not run for the presidency if he were eelected senator of Illinois. Bingo bango, another lie told by Obama that the MSM has nary a peep to say about in the 19 months since he broke it. video here

That drew laughs and cheers from donors at Chicago's Hilton & Towers Hotel. The fund-raiser was expected to bring in $4.5 million for Republicans to spend primarily in the swing states of Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

McCain gave much of the credit for his surge to his vice-presidential nominee, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

'She's a remarkable person ... I'm very pleased Sarah is on the ticket,' McCain said. 'The America people want change in Washington, and they want the right kind of c"
