I question why an admitted past user of illegal drugs like Barack Obama gets such a free ride on his drug riddled past, and why exactly we are supposed to simply take him at his word that he no longer indulges in the use of such simply because he says so.
My experiences with drug users both past and present is they will say and do just about anything at anytime to get what they want and need and I have no reason to believe he would be any different.
Just because he went on to college and became a slick smooth talking lawyer means nothing, as I said I've known and do know drug users at all social stations of life, and lengthy as well as lofty personal accomplishments don't always belie the truth about behind closed door activities such as drug problems. Hollywood is filled with such people as is just about anytown USA.
The difference between them and him is that the man is running for president of the United States, not running his own business or law firm somewhere where one can do whatever the hell they feel like since it's their own business they're trashing, not our country and it's future safety and viability.
And as far as I can tell, these same Obama supporters are the ones that have been for 8-10 years riding president Bush relentlessly about his past drinking problems, and yet not a word or peep from these hypocrites regarding Obama.
Time for Obama to start answering more questions about his past and even more about what his positions are instead of all these wonderful Kum Ba Ya moments he creates on the campaign trail for his adoring press and fans around the country.
