NPR "Now that he has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Al Gore joins an elite club, one that includes presidents, activists and holy men. It is also a club that is, by some accounts, cursed. Past winners have fallen into ill repute, been assassinated — and simply faded from public view." continued
Well, If that happens he'll just have to go back to being,....Al Gore.
What he was before he created this false prophet/messiah role for himself by attaching his name and efforts to exploiting the fears of the mostly liberal masses who fear a global meltdown and think carbon credits are the answer to the important but way overblown warming issue .

.....The Nobel Peace Prize was named after a man who made his fortune by inventing dynamite — one of the many contradictions of a prize, arguably the world's most coveted, that was first awarded in 1901.
Mikhail Gorbachev won the prize in 1990, just before the collapse of the country that he was trying to reform. Former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan got the prize in 2001. Shortly afterward, the Iraq "oil-for-food" scandal erupted and Annan's reputation was tarnished, some say irrevocably. continued
Al will return back to the old politician scrap heap soon enough so I hope he's enjoying his moment on the mountaintop, because it's over when that segment of the public realizes that they've been duped by this snake oil global warming movement, an outcome which has already begun to play now with the British court case we've written about all week tagging the Inconvenient Truth political propaganda.
