They ignore just about everyone with a pro war outlook who doesn't hate the president and doesn't spout the Cindy Sheehan anti - American pro terrorist rhetoric, so in all probability they will ignore this proud father too.
A man who will honor his son Pfc. Geoffrey Morris by trying to snatch the democratic congressional seat from this liberal bag of wind, U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.) next door to my district here in northwestern suburban Illinois. Best of luck to him and our country which will be better off seeing this father fight for his son than another liberal fighting for Al Queda and surrender day in and out in Washington.

Slain Marine's father joins GOP primary for 8th District
chicagotribune.com: "The Gurnee father of a Marine killed in Iraq is entering the Republican primary for the northwest suburban 8th Congressional District seat, making him the third GOP candidate seeking to challenge sophomore U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.) in next year's election. Kirk Morris, 49, who backs the war, said Friday that his campaign is a way for him to honor his 19-year-old son, Pfc. Geoffrey Morris, who was killed in battle in April 2004."
"I've always taught my kids that if you're willing to complain about something, be willing to put your feet in and do something about it," said Morris, an international sales and marketing executive with a Park Ridge firm. "When Geoff joined the Marines, he was putting that mantra to work. Now it's time for me to stand up." continued
