What would be more ludicrous than letting a state leader who sponsors terrorism that is funding the killing of our troops in Iraq and seeking nuclear weaponry to destroy Israel and America to place wreath at Ground Zero six damn years after the fact or for any reason whatsoever? Just today an Iranian Revolutionary Guard officer was arrested and found in possession of advanced roadside bombs to kill our troops with... Iranian officer is arrested in Iraq
Letting him in the country period is a mistake and should be reconsidered although it will not be as this is now his second visit ans is only a middle finger directed at the country and it's citizens and nothing more. Come to think of it, the very place he's visiting, the United Nations, should be booted out of the country as well while we're at it, since it supports anything and everything against the interests of the United States whenever and however it can.
Case in point is letting this little terrorist troll speak about anything period on our soil as it's been practically proven that he was part of the gang of radicals that held our embassy and it's workers hostage back in the seventies by the way. A little terrorist that hates the west, openly and repeatedly calls for the destruction of Israel and America most of all and yet is allowed on our soil to spew hatred in the wells of the United Nations not once but now a second time. Simply Unbelievable and here he is third from the left..
Iran Leader Denied on WTC Wreath Request:
My Way News "NEW YORK (AP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asked permission to lay a wreath at the World Trade Center site when he comes to New York City next week, but the request was denied, a police official said Wednesday. Ahmadinejad, who is arriving Sunday to address the United Nations' General Assembly, had asked this month for permission to visit the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, police spokesman Paul Browne said. The request to enter the fenced-in site was rejected because of ongoing construction there, Browne said. 'Requests for the Iranian president to visit the immediate area would also be opposed by the NYPD on security grounds,' Browne said."
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad, told reporters Wednesday that the United States would not support Iran's attempt to use the site for a "photo op."
"Iran can demonstrate its seriousness about concern with regard to terrorism by taking concrete actions," such as dropping support for Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and suspending their uranium enrichment program, Khalilzad said.
Browne said Ahmadinejad had asked permission from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, U.S. Secret Service and police department. The police and the Secret Service provide security to visiting heads of state.
The Port Authority, which owns the trade center site and is the only agency that could grant him permission to go inside, said it never received such a request, contradicting the police statement.
"We have not been asked to accommodate the president of Iran," Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman said. continued
