TMZ has learned that all Mexican charges may have been dropped against famed bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman and two members of his team -- including his son. We're told these photos were taken moments after Dog learned his fate. Hallelujah! CONTINUED
My Original Post Below HERE posted one full hour before official news reports above
According to Geraldo Rivera of Fox News late Wednesday afternoon phoned in on John Gibson's Big Story, Duane "Dog" Chapman has finally been cleared of these problems he's had in Mexico for a few years now stemming from his dragging back that rapist scum Andrew Luster to the US to face the music after he fled his rape trials in California back in 2003. He, Luster, is now indeed doing those 130 years at this time solely because of his efforts.
This news isn't even reflected yet on his A&E website that has a special section devoted to this issue, so I do not know whether this report by Geraldo was erroneous but I'm betting it isn't and will be reported later in the evening with much fanfare on the cable news stations.
For those who don't remember Andrew Luster, who still has his own website if you can believe that, he was multi million dollar heir to the Max Factor beauty fortune and had been charged multiple times with rape in cases where each and every victim he drugged with the date rape clu9b drug Rohypnol and then proceed to have his way with these women, obviously unbeknownst to them due to their condition at the time.
He did this on a serial basis and was facing 130 years in prison if convicted of these charges many which at the time of his fleeing he was well on his way to being.
He then famously jumped bail amounting to the forfeiture of multi millions of dollars which obviously meant nothing to him if he were to spend the rest of his life in prison which again it looked at the trial as if this was going to happen.
Chapman, who was a famed Bounty Hunter even before the TV show that did come along after his bringing Luster back here to face charges made him a household name, was then facing charges of his own in Mexico, as Bounty Hunting if not done with the coordination of local law enforcement there is....... against the law. Of all the ironies, one would think he would've been on top of that one!
He had apparently left the country at that time after a brief jailing period thinking all was well and then later failed to return back for court dates regarding this issue. This resulted in his being awoken in the middle of the night here in the United States incredibly by Federal Marshal's to answer these charges there. This was an unheard of maneuver, the throwing a US citizen to the Mexican authorities without any fight whatsoever by our government, and not because he is a celebrity of sorts which doesn't really mean a lot to me but that he is first and foremost an upstanding US citizen..
Much was made of this unbelievable arrest of Chapman on our soil for this bs Mexican Misdemeanor and it looked as if he was indeed going to have to spend some time there in prison. The outcry was large and today the charges have finally been dropped by the Mexican judge using the statute of limitations ad a cause for their dismissal.
There is no official news on the internet regarding this story as I am typing, so having just heard this minutes ago again from Geraldo Rivera on John Gibson's Big Story it is yet to be corroborated elsewhere, so hopefully this is indeed true and he will no longer have to look over his shoulders worrying about this mess any longer.

Here's what I wrote about this story back when Chapman was arrested in his home and extradited to Burritoville briefly last September.
Updates to follow if this is wrong especially lol....
