This rookie imbecilic dimwit diplomacy is what this country has in store for it should it remarkably decide to elect Hillary Clinton or any other present female U.S. politician/dream candidate president God forbid.
PMO denies peace message to Assad
Jerusalem Post: "The Prime Minister's Office issued a rare 'clarification' Wednesday that, in gentle diplomatic terms, contradicted US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's statement in Damascus that she had brought a message from Israel about a willingness to engage in peace talks.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert emphasized in his meeting with Pelosi on Sunday that 'although Israel is interested in peace with Syria, that country continues to be part of the Axis of Evil and a force that encourages terror in the entire Middle East.'"
The world laughing their a*&^% off at Nancy and this development, just as they are doing now after that troubling & maybe embarrassing display by the captured and now released British soldiers. This occurred as Madman Mahmoud used them the other day gladhanding them as if they were being sent home after a fine week at Teheran's finest vacation spots, as he simultaneously awarded his Revolutionary Slime medals for bravery! Not to pass judgment on these soldiers yet who were no doubt in a tough situation, but from what I've heard from the US vets and soldiers I personally know, this behavior was extraordinarily bizarre regardless of the circumstances. Some men were tortured for 5 years and many killed in vietnam without revealing their names. And those communist Mao style suits in place of their apparently burned uniforms, the Iranian trinket/gift bags, the red carpet thing I'm afraid was a terribly saddening sight for Brits to have to endure as I sure was cringing while watching it.
What the hell ever happened to Name, Rank and Serial Number is my question.
Here's a partial explanation released late yesterday beginning to shed some light on the soldier's point of view now that they are safely back home.
'We Gathered Intelligence'The captain in charge of the 15 marines detained in Iran has said they were gathering intelligence on the Iranians.
Sky News went on patrol with Captain Chris Air and his team in Iraqi waters close to the area where they were arrested - just five days before the crisis began.
We withheld the interview until now so it would not jeopardise their safety.
And today, former Iranian diplomat Dr Mehrdad Khonsari said if the Iranians had known about it, they would have used it to "justify taking the marines captive and put them on trial". continued
