The opening paragraph of the story below from that old terrorist favorite New York Times is all one needs to know about where this story is headed along with who it's about, and that it features those old favorites of the left, our enemy.
New Face of Jihad Vows Attacks
New York Times: "TRIPOLI, Lebanon — Deep in a violent and lawless slum just north of this coastal city, 12 men whose faces were shrouded by scarves drilled with Kalashnikovs."
In unison, they lunged in one direction, turned and lunged in another. “Allah-u akbar,” the men shouted in praise to God as they fired their machine guns into a wall. read more (don't waste your time unless you enjoy seeing killers fawned over that is)
Sounds like the opening of a puff-piece "Poor Jihadder Hard at Work" type of story about the supposed enemy in this war doesn't it?
Well, that's because it is a puff piece. One that goes on to interview these terrorists like they are the New York Mets or Yankees in spring training or Puff Daddy at the Grammy's. After all we all know they for the most part stick to hit pieces on our soldiers and military members inside their rag sheet.
Those enemies of ours that are out to kill and maim our military members who the Times feels we have some pressing need to understand, sympathize with, to get to know anything about enough for them to send in one of their obliging lefty correspondents to not only embed but get in-bed with the them again and again over these past 5 years in their treasonous coverage of this War on Terror and now in Iraq.
Now I don't know about you, but the only thing I really want to know about the enemy from the New York Times or any other western news organization for that matter is how many of them were killed by our coalition soldiers today, THATS IT, and not just how many of our soldiers they were lucky enough to kill that day that they love to report to us more than anything else.
Maybe a picture with a caption like this once and a while would be nice too.
