As many can see we here in Chicago and I suppose Indianapolis as well are eagerly looking forward to this weekend as I hope are the many other fans of football in general towards this entrenched American almost holiday Superbowl tradition in all it's glory. This year we all hope will hopefully be minus the usual boring games that tend to be the staple of this event.
The Bears have been somewhat unpredictable from game to game in spite of their dominant appearing season record so that's entirely possible. They're Not exactly the '85 bears in tail-kicking department, but usually provide nail biter type games that hopefully will tilt in their favor this Sunday.
Not to sound gee-wiz like, but I must say for many who have not lived in a city while these types of events take place, they are truly a uniter of a city in a day when old neighborly camaraderie and friendliness are all but absent from almost all our daily routines it seems. I have now seen 2 of these here 20 years apart and absence makes the heart grow fonder for sports fans too.. Thus I wish every city and it's people could experience it as it is in a big city here like Chicago, where again for the most part we are all sadly strangers from day to day but all friends more and more as the season progresses and for a couple weeks extension of good tidings after the holidays to this event for the most part.
But Monday, win or lose, you can bet it's back to liberal bashing for this blogger and they back to anti-conservative BDS type behavior towards us ....just kidding but probably and kinda sadly right, as right is right when all is said and done........
Now, I am not a cheerleader type of overweight and drunk or stoned sports fan guy, (just mouseover to see >>some Bears Superfan retread kind dudes, but I am using this blog to kinda placehold and chronicle the local articles and memories from the game and season on the net just in case the Bears finish off this somewhat surprising season in tall order as it seems
.........however if they lose this crap gets deleted just like the minority democratic votes by a Renegade Diebold voting machine, at least according to the nutjob conspiracy libs..........lol
One other thing is lets all hope and pray Prince, he of the somewhat questionable halftime entertainment selection by the NFL, doesn't have some type of wardrobe malfunction lord help us. One upside to that however would be that we may then at least determine once and for all if it's Prince or Princess.... (lol)
I personally would much prefer a more "square type" family friendly old fashioned mid-game refresher, like any college or high school marching bands from the respective teams' cities alot more than this guy or any other musical acts they have leaned towards in the recent past, minus the Rolling Stones that one time recently I think..
These acts don't need any more exposure and usually suck for the puny little time frame involved, I like the traditional stuff involving the younger contributors much more.
