I'm generally not a book reviewer or by any stretch and don't read too many of them nowadays with the advent of this medium, but I'm gonna give this book to the left a read from Congressman Tancredo because I too agree with his and it's assertion that this country is quickly headed down the path of the Roman empire if we cannot reign in the destructive forces that are tearing us apart from within. We all have a pretty good idea what those forces are I'm sure.
This of coarse is occurring at the unbridled joy & glee of our enemies while they are ROTCFLTAO (rolling on their cave floors laffing their asses off) at our rapid demise every step of the way.

I'll post my thoughts in a couple days after I get the thing Wed. or so and read it Thurs and Fri. or over the weekend, if anyone is interested. If you on the other hand have already read it, lemme' know what you thought of it if you would..
I'm sure it's filled with the same stuff I actually rant and rave about here on this blog, and I'm afraid the Congressman, although he would make a fine president stands hardly a chance of being elected as anybody to the left of Jay Leno considers him a racist for his anti ILLEGAL immigration and terrorist views.
I know I hear it quite often as well, all this for wanting to keep the country free of more drug dealers, tax evaders, murderers and rapists that don't even belong here, as we already have enough of our own homegrown ones to deal with from day to day. filed under Literature, Miscellaneous Odds .. Gibbons explains Rome rotted from within because of a loss of civic virtue, its citizens becoming lazy and soft and hiring barbarian mercenaries to defend the empire because they were unwilling to do it themselves.
Tancredo explains in his book how America's progress is following the same course."
He believes that the incredible economic success and historical military prowess of the United States has decayed, so that the nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles of right and wrong is now an overindulgent, immoral cesspool of depravity. (So Do I) read more
