You can look at this one of two ways, (A) She tried to sing it and butchered it, but at least gave the effort, or more likely (B) She only sang 1/3rd of it badly 'cause thats all she knew, so she faked it the best she could... like sadly most Americans do, although I am proud to say I know all the words and can sing it as well.
