Democrats blame Bush trip for tragic storm, claim jet contrails from AirForce One fly- over caused atmospheric changes leading to deaths. Al Gore to make speech later today at UN. CNN claims Bush speechless when asked to link deaths to Iraq war.
Bush Spokesman Tony Snow attempted to blame the mishap on natural weather patterns. When asked why Bush did nothing to avoid causing more death in Vietnam as Senator Kerry recommended in the sixties, Snow replied "President Bush did request that the Pilot of Air Force One to stay the course as the jet attempted to land in Vietnam. After consulting with the White House Press corps and Helen we realize it would have been better to abort the landing all together had we known that the landing would have caused global warming, but after all hindsight is twenty twenty."
UPDATE Wednesday 11/22/06 ::The above is obviously satire, but judging from some emails that isn't clear enough, so here I am saying it.
However the story below is true and sad so I guess the satire appears as if I am making fun of the unfortunate folks below, that is not the case.
