Bumped from Thursday afternoon to Friday Am
A somewhat new project is emerging on the blogosphere brought to my attention by Mike Stakias from Senate Majority Leader Frist’s Political Action Committee, where all of us interested in seeing a real man stay put in the United Nations, one who is singlehandedly reforming that long corrupt and practically useless organization, can join in helping the Frist action committee VOLPAC to apply some pressure to the senate to confirm John Bolton as our probably more important than ever ambassador appointee.
This, keeping him there past his installment deadline, due to the fact that as you know Bush had to appoint him in recess resulting from the usual obstruction by Democrats and a few wussified republican senators. Particularly this guy, Ohio Senator George Voinovich, who was so vehement in his disapproval of Bolton that he actually cried like a girl over the earlier confirmation vote.
Please read the post below, taken directly from their action website, and if your interested go there and sign up, sticking the obsctructionist democrats with yet another mammoth loss to notch on their belts of defeatism heading into the all important epic in some ways mid term elections in November.

Directly From Blogging For Bolton: Nearly five years after 9/11, we are well into an epic, generational struggle. A struggle that pits freedom against tyranny ... hope against fear ... democracy against Islamic radicalism. The men and women of our Armed Forces are fighting with heroic resolve ... and they deserve to be supported in their mission by diplomats willing to call evil by its name, able to rally our friends and allies behind the global expansion of freedom and democracy, and unafraid to passionately pursue reform of our dysfunctional international institutions.
That's why we need John Bolton's leadership at the United Nations. Unfortunately, his recess appointment expires in January of 2007 ... so we must act now to confirm him permanently.
This month Senate Republicans will do everything they can to break Democrat obstruction and give John Bolton the fair up-or-down vote that he was denied last year. But they need the grassroots support of conservatives to turn up the heat on the Democrats by flooding their offices with calls in support of Ambassador Bolton and the President's agenda for reforming the waste and incompetence of the United Nations.
So click the link below where all 45 Democrat Senators' phone numbers are listed and call as many Senators as you are able. We must show our support for John Bolton, a man who isn't afraid to proudly defend America, our foreign policy and our allies in the War on Terror. Click to go there
