Obama's Pork Road propaganda on economic 'stimulus' angers states and IL Congressman Schock

These are all around our area here, and frankly, some if not much of the Illinois roadwork was already appropriated from the Bush administration, yet Obama's taking credit for it by throwing in a couple other projects just to stamp his name on the whole thing.

Every time I see one I wanna pull my gun out and take a shot at it .....but obviously don't or won't.

I have an old TV in the basement I flip on with his pic for that purpose, like Elvis ;) lol

Now states are getting angry because Obama's forcing them to pay for these propaganda pieces as if there's any question who it is in Washington spending your grand children's money on crap they couldn't pass in a hundred years and will be paying for for two hundred years.

Illinois's star young conservative in DC named Aaron Schock is crawling up Obama's backside on this one and Washington Examiner examines it as others are in the back pocket we all know by now. I'm sure you've seen these (right out of the Alinsky propaganda handbook which came as a bonus with the original printing of 'Rules for Radical Jerkoffs' ;) jk

There's no better definition of government waste than the estimated $192 million President Obama is forcing cash-strapped state officials to spend on road signs touting his failed stimulus program. Even so, with a critical congressional election coming in November, Americans will see a proliferation of these politically self-serving signs in coming months as Obama tries to convince voters who think his "Recovery Summer" is just an economic Potemkin village.
Such signs would not be needed if Obama's program had succeeded.

Rep. Aaron Schock, R-Ill., recently discovered that the Obama propaganda signs are required for all projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. That's the official name for the $857 billion economic stimulus program Obama promised would keep unemployment below 8 percent.

A White House memo Schock obtained told stimulus fund recipients they must display the newly designed ARRA logo. According to the memo, the logo is "a symbol of President Obama's commitment to the American People to invest their tax dollars wisely to put Americans back to work." Instead of "symbol," a far more appropriate word to describe this would be "propaganda."

I think Alvin Green's action figure idea would do far more to stimulate the economy. lol

  2. v No dount there Trestin, the Green action figure would certainly have more balls than most of American government men in office today on both aisles, mostly the left of course. ;)
