Well today the story is updated as they removed this billboard this morning due to all the whining and complaining from all quarters apparently so it's ok to call president Bush "Hitler" for eight years but not ok to link Dear Leader Obama to him for one freaking day.
By the way, this billboard is nothing more than a well traveled photoshop that's appeared on thousands of websites including this one a number of times. Here it is at a tea party rally....it's nothing.
Isn't it called free speech I thought? Politically all three had identical messages. Obama isn't Hitler, yet, but then again, neither was George Bush, try telling that to a BDS infected far lefty. They called Bush 'Hitler' so many times, they probably forgot his first name.
We've only been fighting back for a little over a year, they did this for 8.

Iowa billboard linking Obama, Hitler removed - Yahoo! News: "DES MOINES, Iowa – A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group comparing President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin has been removed.
Kent Beatty, the general manager of the company that owns the billboard, says a North Iowa Tea Party representative called Tuesday night and asked that the sign in downtown Mason City be removed.
Beatty says his company replaced the sign Wednesday morning with a public service announcement.
The original sign showed photographs of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin beneath the labels 'Democrat Socialism,' 'National Socialism,' and 'Marxist Socialism.'
Some tea party members criticized the sign, and North Iowa Tea Party co-founder Bob Johnson acknowledged the pictures overwhelmed the intended message of anti-socialism.

Billboard linking Obama, Hitler draws complaints - Yahoo! News: "DES MOINES, Iowa – A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group that compares President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin is drawing sharp criticism — even from fellow tea party activists who have condemned it as offensive and a waste of money.
The North Iowa Tea Party began displaying the billboard in downtown Mason City last week. The sign shows large photographs of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin beneath the labels 'Democratic Socialism,' 'National Socialism,' and 'Marxist Socialism.'
Beneath the photos is the phrase, 'Radical leaders prey on the fearful & naive.'
The co-founder of the roughly 200-person group said the billboard was intended to send an anti-socialist message. But Bob Johnson admitted Tuesday that the message may have gotten lost amid the images of fascist and communist leaders.
'The purpose of the billboard was to draw attention to the socialism. It seems to have been lost in the visuals,' Johnson said. 'The pictures overwhelmed the message. The message is socialism.' He said he didn't know of any plans to remove the sign.
But others in the tea party movement criticized the sign.
'That's just a waste of money, time, resources and it's not going to further our cause,' said Shelby Blakely, a leaders of the Tea Party Patriots, a national group. 'It's not going to help our cause. It's going to make people think that the tea party is full of a bunch of right-wing fringe people, and that's not true.'
I could show three pictures and 2 of them are so similar, if changed to black and white one would be pressed to tell the era.. Well I'll do it and we'll see for ourselves.
Here's the one from the 40's......obviously the stage gives it away but you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference based on the crowds and their sloganeering and so forth....
...tell me with a straight face they're not identical groups of people, freaking identical! For anyone to deny what we all saw with our own eyes and heard with our own ears is so intellectually dishonest they don't deserve to even be listened to...and that's why I DON'T and you shouldn't either. It's become a waste of time, they're the one's 'off the reservation' so they need to meet US half way from the left, not the other way around.The far too long silent majority will speak in November like these folks have never seen before and the groundswell of increase in voters will scare the hell out of these folks when the left realizes how seriously outnumbered they are.

ReplyDeleteI just put one I found that I posted a while back during the Tea party rallies and it 's just like it, it's really just an old photoshop just turned into a billboard basically. I have every Obama pic there is, thousands of them if you ever looking for one you cant find. Youc an see all the pics on this blog on one Page I've made, the link is under the pages module in the sidebar to the left near the top Bunni ;)
