This is the best news we could hear all weekend next to Obamacare being rejected on Sunday, when the loons on the hill have planned to do the "democrat cram down", my word meaning Obama and company will shove this down our throats Barney Frank style, and sadly we'll just have to hire about 400 new people in the fall to spit it all out like the bad medicine that it is.
Getting back to this group, the damage done to it by citizen journo's Hanna Giles and her buddy James O'Keefe has apparently brought that enterprise down. Then on a high from all the attention received O'Keefe seems to have gotten just a "tad" full of himself after that first big score, and for his next trick hewent into the office's of mostly worthless congresswoman Mary Landrieu to pose as phone company employee.
They appeared there claiming they were simply trying to find out if there was something wrong with the phones, as her constituents were complaining like others across the country that they couldn't get through to lodge their dissatisfaction about her Louisiana Purchase bribe to secure her "yes" vote for Obamacare and found himself arrested by the FBI.
Hopefully that all works out for him in a positive fashion, although I cannot wish the same for the criminal enterprise known as ACORN, which should now be investigated from top to bottom by forensic auditors to confirm the ongoing criminality they've gotten away with over the years. Another reason to dissect their finances would be to help authorities find the red flags they missed (or overlooked) so they can identify other similar crooked community specific organizations who are on the dole of all taxpayers as ACORN was for decades.
FOXNews.com - "The liberal activist group ACORN is suffering from a steep loss of funding and will this weekend discuss plans to file for bankruptcy in a teleconference, the New York Times reported.Officials from the group told the Times it is dealing with 'mismanagement along with a severe loss of government and membership funds.'The group is reeling from a disbanding of at least 15 of its 30 state chapters while its large New York and California chapters have set up fresh organizations.ACORN, or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, describes itself as an advocate for low-income and minority home buyers and residents. The group has come under fire over the past six months for videos showing some ACORN workers giving tax tips to conservative activists posing as a pimp and prostitute." continued
