Some Great News From Hollweird.......Sean Penn charged with battery in Los Angeles

Maybe they can charge him with treason as well for cavorting with enemies of the US during wartime, although his target of adulation we're NOT at war with, we would be if they had their way, that being Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, two of this a-hole's hero's.

He's gotten away his entire career beating up men and women, and it's about high time he did some time for his unacceptable behavior, as far too many of us non woman beating men and Patriots are damn tired of the double standards that abound in our legal system for celebrities.

In many ways, they have double the advantages of most defendants in court, in that they're both rich and have the benefit of celebrity, which is usually enough to let some escape with double murders. 

At least it was, right up until he was lassoed with other charges that landed him in jail as payback of sorts, (which isn't the way it's supposed to be either, not that I'm defending OJ in any way mind you). He can rot in jail which is exactly what he's doing and should have been a long time ago.

Yahoo! News: "LOS ANGELES – Actor-director Sean Penn was charged Friday with battery and vandalism charges stemming from an altercation with a photographer in Brentwood last fall.

Penn will be arraigned March 22 on the two misdemeanor charges, said Los Angeles city attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan.

A phone message for Penn's attorney, Barry Hirsch, was not immediately returned.

Penn will not be required to appear in court if he is represented by an attorney.

Mateljan said Penn kicked a photographer during a dustup in October. The photographer's camera also was damaged. The incident was captured on a video posted by celebrity Web site TMZ.com in which Penn is seen kicking at a photographer and repeatedly telling the photographer to 'get out.'

If convicted, Penn could face up to 18 months in jail."

Best news I've heard all year so far. and Long overdue...this guy represents everything wrong with Hollywood and the left infecting it like a cancer.
