Bengals WR Henry injured in domestic dispute
fl - SI.com: "CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry suffered serious injuries after falling out of the back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute with his fiance, police said Wednesday.
Henry was found in the road in Charlotte 'apparently suffering life-threatening injuries,'' according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Henry was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, the local trauma unit, but spokesman Scott White said he was not listed in hospital records and had no other information.
Police say Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his unidentified fiance was driving away from a home just before noon.
'The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry,'' the police said in a statement. 'At some point while she was driving, Mr. Henry came out of the back of the vehicle.''
Henry broke his left forearm during a win over Baltimore on Nov. 8, had surgery and was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Charlotte is home to his fiance's parents, the Bengals said.
Team spokesman Jack Brennan said he had little information other than Henry was badly hurt.
'We are aware he was in an accident and that his injuries are very serious,'' Brennan said. 'We are obviously staying in touch with the situation and are ready to offer whatever assistance we can.''continued
This is what I said about it yesterday, as the NFL and all his enablers helped this kid die, along with his own stupid ghetto behavior...Very sad but quite predictable.
Strangely on this day, OJ in 1973 as a Buffalo Bill passed the 2000 yard in a season mark 36 years ago against the New York Jets in Shea Stadium.
I know because I was there as a 9 year old kid with my brother mother and father...
What a strange day to be reporting on another NFL star who himself is a victim of domestic violence this time. What are the odds? They get better everyday, we know that.
Now on to this pro football tragedy of the day...Before I start, I know this kind of stuff went on 100 years ago with Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and others etc....the point here is we're supposed to be evolving I thought although present conditions prove that theory has some big holes in it.
As you can see from this picture this man is no stranger to the police and all kinds of difficulties throughout his life despite being being blessed with a career in the NFL he's the second African American athlete in 2 weeks being seriously injured in a domestic dispute, and this poor man may not make it from his today.

What can you say? The sad thing is this isn't near unusual for this man's young life, not even close. He has a rap sheet a mile and a half long and it's amazing he's even in the NFL no matter how talented he is. He's obviously not too smart. Hopefully he lives through this tragedy because right now it doesn't look too good for him with very serious life threatening head injuries according to reports.
It's obvious American celebrities and pro athletes of all walks, races, colors and creeds have really turned up the temperature on bad behavior, and really need to be brought back down to earth somehow and soon. Because the recent evidence shows most can't handle all the money and fame thrown carelessly in their directions, and frankly, it's prematurely killing many in one way or another.
For instance, Tiger Woods could have easily been killed a few weeks ago, and that's no joke. OJ anyone? Michael Jackson, who hires a cardiologist to put him to sleep every day, geez.... Who would do such a thing absent millions of dollars? NO ONE, THAT'S WHO.
And we all know the list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on.
And we all know the list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on.
I never though I'd live to see the day when the original "Rock Stars" of yesteryear are more sober and grounded often times than these Hollywood celebrities and today's athletes.... and yet they're the ones who originated "Ultra Bad Behavior" aside from the few Babe Ruth's along the way.
