For starters, I know it sucks donating to the GOP right now, but they're the only ones you can donate to at this time in order to help get her removed as soon as the possibility arises...(2012 I believe for her elected in 2006)
This is what Rush Limbaugh said about her today...
Well, the State-Controlled Media is just over the top here, folks. They can't believe it. News flash, news alert, "Republican Olympia Snowe has announced that she will vote for the Baucus bill," surprise, surprise, oh, goody goody goody. This is the same Republican, Olympia Snowe, who says the party left her, that she didn't leave the Republican Party, that she is a fiscal conservative. Olympia Snowe is a predictable joke. She has voted for all of Obama's big spending radical agenda. more
One piddly crossover republicrat Rino and now the media and the democrats will have the audacity to call this clusterf*** a bi partisan effort...Again, let's reiterate that Olympia Snowe should be booted from the GOP and then cast in the political desert to wander aimlessly for the next 40 years where she can do us no more harm.
When people start dying unnecessarily as they will eventually do from the inevitably endless bureaucratic government red tape down this dem paved yellow brick, health care boondoggle road, and then start cursing the day they trusted the government (of all people) with their health care decision making and hard earned dollars, they can all begin finger pointing by blaming that woman right up there for their woes and misery..
Nothing is EVER free, and that is starting to include "we the people" here in the United States, becoming endlessly indebted under this so called "leadership" of the one time "democratic" but now official "Socialist" party of the USA, and the not so little "cradle to grave nanny state" the liberals are constructing .
My Way News - "WASHINGTON (AP) - Historic legislation to expand U.S. health care and control costs won its first Republican supporter Tuesday and cleared a key Senate hurdle, a double-barreled triumph that propelled President Barack Obama's signature issue toward votes this fall in both houses of Congress.
'When history calls, history calls,' said Maine Republican Olympia Snowe, whose declaration of support ended weeks of suspense and provided the only drama of a 14-9 vote in the Senate Finance Committee. With her decision, the 62-year-old lawmaker bucked her own leadership on the most high-profile issue of the year in Congress, and gave the drive to remake health care at least a hint of the bipartisanship that Obama seeks."
