Who never hear of Greg The Hammer Valentine, diving off your parents bed into your brother's head or back when he wasn't looking with the hammering elbow.....lol...I know me and my bro did when we were kids.
Which come to think of it in itself was actually another not so great memory of the times, or otherwise was the very infant beginnings of the goofy pop culture headache and phenomenon we've all come to now know as the WWF...lol..
Hey if you like that stuff that's great, I just really don't dig it I'm afraid, Id rather watch the convicts in the NFL really kick each others asses every weekend for real instead.
Anyhow, old Captain Lou Albano bites the big one last night at 76...
The Fabulous Forum | Los Angeles Times: "Legendary pro wrestling manager Captain Lou Albano died this morning, MTV.com is reporting.
Albano, who was sent home from the hospital earlier this week and place under hospice care, was 76 years old.
Albano is best known to non-wrestling fans as the father in Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun' video. That helped kick off the Rock 'n Wrestling connection that launched the then-WWF to national prominence in the 1980s."
