It's an appropriate question on a day when Americans are also divided on "how to" on the right, and "whether or not to at all" on the left, when it comes to the commemoration of the tragedy of September 11 in addition to all the divisions Buchanan mentions in this article today.
If we can't all come together on this day maybe we are impossibly divided after all....
