If a terror scare like this can occur in Barack Hussein Obama's so called "home state" imagine how many other terror nuts and goofballs are walking around amongst us getting ready to strike as Obama and company dismantle the Bush security apparatus in favor for a more dangerous Muslim appeasing routine.

Michael Finton loved to hang out with pals at Seals Fish & Chicken restaurant in Decatur and give an acerbic running commentary on the news shows playing on the kitchen TV. He would also preach about religion, claiming that young people in the college town drank too much and had no morals.
On Thursday afternoon, stunned staff at the fast-food shack gathered around the tiny TV to watch reports of Finton's arrest on charges that he tried to blow up the federal courthouse in Springfield on behalf of al-Qaida.
According to federal charges filed in Springfield, Finton twice made a cell phone call that he believed would set off a mass-casualty bomb Wednesday in a van he had just parked outside the courthouse and near the office of a U.S. congressman.
"It just doesn't make any sense," said Talina Dippel, 18, as she stared at the restaurant TV. "He'd talk about rules all the time, and how people here didn't have them, and about politics, but we really didn't pay any attention. He loved to preach."
According to the charges, Finton, 29, also known as Talib Islam, was being watched by federal agents from the earliest moments of his alleged plot.
"We were fortunate to be in a position to control the outcome here and make sure there was never any danger to anyone," said FBI spokesman Marshall Stone.
Authorities became interested in Finton in 2007 after a search of his vehicle after a parole violation turned up letters mentioning martyrdom and purported contact with John Walker Lindh, the so-called American Taliban. After learning Finton wanted to undergo terror training and fight in Gaza against the Israelis, the FBI worked to set up an "opportunity for action that we controlled."
Authorities had a drug informant -- who like Finton had converted to Islam in prison -- befriend him. He introduced Finton to an undercover agent posing as an al-Qaida operative.
In August, the agent allegedly told Finton the plan had been approved by his purported supervisors in al-Qaida and had Finton make a videotaped message that supposedly was to be shown to Osama bin Laden and others.
Neighbors at Finton's apartment building near Milliken University on Decatur's Main Street said they saw investigators take more than a dozen bags of evidence from his ground-floor apartment Wednesday night.
Neighbor Nancy Pedigo said Finton told her he had changed his name.
"When he said his name was Talib, I thought, uh-oh, you only have to add an 'a' and an 'n' to that and you know what you get," she said.
On his MySpace profile, Finton described himself as a fan of the TV shows "Friends" and "Seinfeld" and said his favorite books were the Quran and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance."
In January 2007 he wrote a rambling account of his conversion, saying he was brought up a Seventh-day Adventist.
Claiming he was "at heart an intellectual," he wrote that before his conversion, "People thought I was smart, and reasonably good-looking, but to me, I was a moron, and a freak."
Landlord Douglas Gross said he had been in Finton's apartment recently to check for cockroaches and had noticed nothing unusual.
"I come from Los Angeles and you expect something like this there, but here, in the middle of Illinois?" he said. "I never had any problems with him -- he always paid the rent."
