Hot Air » "In an odd way, this is a perfect complement to today’s many, many, many sanitized tributes to Ted Kennedy.
In both cases there’s an official progressive narrative and in both cases inconvenient facts are shunted aside in the interest of serving that narrative. What happens when a teachable moment about right-wing nuts driven mad by ObamaCare turns out to be a case of vandalism committed by a far leftist? Why, this:State Democrat Party Chair Pat Waak refuses to apologize for smearing conservative town hall protesters and stands by her political attack:
“I stand by my statement that I think there are people opposed to health care reform and there has been a lot of rhetoric that has prompted an atmosphere that I don’t think is constructive… It’s such a polarizing issue. It shouldn’t be.”
No apology for blaming the right. Why should there be? The narrative is what it is."
