We knew this would be platinum for the lefties and for the first time in my adult life I do KIND OF agree with them on Sanford and Ensign as this LA Times Blog cites an Charleston Post article that points out both Ensign and Sanford and Scum called on Slick Willie to resign after his Monica Lewinsky debacle.
So I guess these two Penis thinking geniuses will do what all republicans do when they F&^% up and that would be resign....contrary of coarse to their sleazy and slimy counterparts on the left, who won't resign their seats on the Golden Goose Express without 15 federal warrants, 2 constitutional amendments and a super duty crane to dislodge them from their Crapital Hill offices after their countless escapades and peccadilloes are revealed.
The list never ends with the left as their evildoers could field a football team at the present time, that's the difference between the two parties. They both have slime within but it's what they do after they're caught that sets them apart.
I mean, here is the 2008 dem Hall Of Shame that makes these few Republican scandals look like a day on Sesame Street or Mister Rodger's Neighborhood. Of coarse two wrongs don't make a right, but what about a hundred?
So the republicans while slimy in their own right from time to time can't hold a stinkin' candle to this ever growing dem Wide World Of Corruption, that's for damn sure.
Top of the Ticket | Los Angeles Times: "What’s that old saying about throwing stones and glass houses? It sure comes to mind today. And it relates to President Clinton and two Republicans who just admitted they cheated on their wives.
The Charleston Post and Courier reports that Mark Sanford, as a congressman, called on Clinton to resign when his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky was revealed. Sanford is now Gov. Sanford. And, as just about everyone knows by now, he confessed today that he had an affair with a “dear, dear friend” in Argentina.
But back in 1998, according to the Post and Courier, he said of Clinton, “Very damaging stuff. This one’s pretty cut and dried.” Calling the overall situation messy, he added: “I think it would be much better for the country and for him personally [to resign].'
John Ensign had similar thoughts back then. Ensign is now Nevada’s junior senator. As the Ticket reported, Ensign's popularity slumped after he admitted that he had an affair with a former staffer.
In 1998 he served in Congress and had this to say to the Las Vegas Review-Journal: 'The honorable thing for him to do is to resign and not put the country through this.'"
