My Kind Of Town (Not) "Chicago has 7 shooting deaths in 24 hours"

Obama's town crumbles as he did such a fine job in those years spent community organizing, so good the people in his district are killing themselves at rates not seen since the days of Al Capone.

Sinatra might have rewritten the song had he lived long enough to see the cesspool many parts of it have become

Daily Herald | "Chicago had seven shooting deaths in 24 hours this weekend, and police say they have no suspects in custody.

All seven victims were men in their 20s or 30s, and all were shot to death.

The shootings occurred between 6:15 a.m. Saturday and just before 6 a.m. Sunday.

One victim, 30-year-old Demond Stansbury, was shot along with two of his cousins, who survived and are in fair condition.

The shootings spanned the city, happening on the North, South and West sides.

Chicago Police spokesman Roderick Drew says investigations into the shootings are ongoing.

On Saturday, police Superintendent Jody Weis spoke at an anti-violence march and rally on the West side."

Another tragedy has come forth as this weekend also included the murder of yet another of Chicago's finest, a Mr Alejandro "Alex" Valadez, who died this afternoon, and was the third Chicago police officer killed in the line of duty over the last 12 months.

What a fine job Obama and his dem friends have done with this city huh? Well at least we're in the running for the Olympics, that is until the committee visits again and perhaps one of it's own members becomes the umpteenth murder victim within Daley's fiefdom.

Officer slain in South Side shooting A plainclothes Chicago police officer died this afternoon after being shot in the head and critically wounded early this morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.

Alejandro 'Alex' Valadez, 27, died about 2:40 p.m., police Supt. Jody Weis said.

Valadez is the third officer killed in the line of duty in the past 12 months. Officer Nathaniel Taylor, 39, a 14-year veteran, was shot and killed in September while trying to execute a search warrant against a suspected narcotics dealer. Officer Richard Francis, 60, was fatally shot in July during a struggle with a woman causing a disruption on a bus." continued
