Conyers backs off probe of ACORN / Wife Pleading Guilty To Conspiracy. Keeping It All in The Family....

Two interesting stories involving one of the Democratic party's top bum's, John Conyers, who claims he's been knocked off of a probe of the obviously criminal organization most responsible for the election of Barack Hussein Obama by the powerful and also likely criminal "powers that be" as he referred to them, formerly known as ACORN who interestingly changed their name this past week as most are aware.....

a name which has become synonymous with slime and crime over the past couple of months but mostly since Obama came on the national scene almost 2 years ago to the month.

Particularly since the anointment of the Messiah who helped birth this criminal enterprise called ACORN many moons ago as a Chicago community organizer which is basically another name for race baiter and racial extortion specialist

Looks like those same "powers that be" have also gotten his apparently equally criminal spouse to admit her culpability in some Michigan criminal political enterprise as well as you can see I've inserted both stories are below.

Now there's some information one would think would be turning many heads in the Obama Ministry of Propaganda formerly known as the MSM but sadly they are intersted in nothing more than the mostly predictable but sad death of Michael Jackson, even FOX news is glued to this wall to wall now for the past 24 hours....

Conyers backs off probe of ACORN

Washington Times: "House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate purported wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying ?powers that be? put the kibosh on the idea.

Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style 'protection' racket.

'The powers that be decided against it,' Mr. Conyers told The Washington Times as he left the House chambers Wednesday.

The chairman declined to elaborate, shrugging off questions about who told him how to run his committee and give the Democrat-allied group a pass.

Conyers spokesman Jonathan Godfrey said late Thursday, several hours after the first request for comment, that the chairman had been referring to himself as 'the powers that be.'" continued

Conyers pleads guilty to conspiracy

Freep.com | Detroit Free Press: "Detroit City Council President Pro Tem Monica Conyers pleaded guilty this morning to conspiring to commit bribery and is free on personal bond.

U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn said, 'The defendant now stands convicted.'

The one count of conspiring to commit bribery is punishable by up to five years in prison.

No sentencing date has been set.

In court, Conyers’ combative demeanor was gone, replaced by soft-spoken resignation as the judge and his staff several times asked her to speak up.

Conyers, the wife of powerful Democratic congressman U.S. Rep. John Conyers, appeared before Cohn to answer charges in connection with the wide-ranging probe of wrongdoing at Detroit city hall. continued
