Saturday, May 30, 2009With Jay Leno's Tonight Show Gone, Late Night A Humorless Wasteland
I always loved Johnny Carson, as his reign as Late Night king hails back to the finer days of this country which are quickly going by the wayside, and when he decided to retire, out of viewer loyalty and familiarity I stuck with Leno as he took over, and remained my favorite host out of the obvious two.
Sad to see it ending and I sure won't be flipping to Letterman nor Obrien so it looks like movie hour and FoxNews reruns here. Here's the ending of the show last night and the entire thing can be seen as always at NBC.com 14 Classic Jay Leno Moments on the 'Tonight Show' | Photos | EW.com: "The day after Johnny Carson died, guests like Ed McMahon, Bob Newhart, and Don Rickles sat on the couch opposite Leno to pay tribute to the former host of The Tonight Show.
