Mother nature and God created the food chain, and for the most part we humans are at the top of it with the exception of the human animals we sometimes encounter in our lives we end up caging in our human zoos known as jails and prisons.
However, I get really pissed when animals are put down because of perceived threats or in cases of animals being animals.
For instance the woman who keeps the 200lb full grown Chimp as her best friend, which ends up mauling her best human friend and then ends up being killed as a result of it going apeshit, or the tiger that's shot to death because some stoned moron jerks off at the zoo antagonizing a tiger which gets extraordinarily pissed, jumps the fence and then makes dinner or said stoned moron.
You get my drift I'm sure.
This incident that occurred today is another perfect example of where I draw the line...Today there's a Moose which is simply doing nothing more than being a Moose, it wanders from the woods into a Maine town, gets frightened as it's chased from a nursing home parking lot across a roadway and such and finally ends up back in the woods, where it belongs, and the police go in the woods, the animal charges the cop and the cop shoots the animal!
Not in the street or in the nursing home parking lot but in the woods where the damn thing belongs and was ultimately chased.
That is wrong.
