I just knew this morning these longshots would be good in the mud folks, and you're humble host here just pocketed $1200 on a $20 bet picking Mine That Bird along with a couple others spreading it around as ultimately three of the top 5 longshots came in Win Place and Show as you can verify from the bets shown below.
And Here's the winning ticket!!! A Fifty To One Shot Baby!!!
What really sucks is that I had contemplated laying the entire $100 on Mine that bird which would've paid $5,000 but instead as I said I spread out $100 bucks amongst the bottom of the field I'm sure many big spenders and betters did the same thing and got even richer.
But, it's been a good day for me for sure, as this was the second largest upset in 130 years and the 2nd largest payout as well.

My Way News - "LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The cowboy and his horse beat them all. Four Hall of Fame trainers. The ruler of Dubai. Two very sentimental favorites. Trainer Bennie Woolley Jr. hitched Mine That Bird to the back of his pickup and drove to the Kentucky Derby from New Mexico. With an inspired ride on the rail from Calvin Borel, it all added up to one of the greatest upsets in 135 years of America's most famous horse race.
'Those cowboys,' trainer Bob Baffert said, 'they came with a good horse.'" more here
Good pick there,Ray. Got any tips on upcoming races?
ReplyDeleteI just layed down 100 on the Bulls game, that's a 220 payoff./ I bet at this site called Sportsbook and they pay excellent.
ReplyDeleteThey got a neat casino that I screw around in but the main thing is they do pay and it's safe..
I won about $3900 during the Bears season mostly on 2 upsets. I just mostly bet longshots, I don't bet horses ever except the derby, belmont and the preakness, like this one today. I saw the mud and figured hey, that evens out the race and it payed. We got Arlington race track about 2 miles from the house here but I never go, never really have.
Spread out what you can afford to lose and I just get lucky I guess. I'll let you know the next one if you're interested.
Congratulations Chicago Ray. Hope you're on a roll!
ReplyDeleteTY sir, I'm pretty happy with today's developments, now if the Bulls and Hawks win it'll be superb.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! I won't tell Obama
