Great to see a devout Christian take this American Idol over the probable and flaunting gay Adam Lambert.......... and while I personally loathe this show and everything it stands for, which is nothing but manufactured celebrity, I was happy to see this Lambert kid lose to the more sane and proud Christian in this final tonight.After seeing the internet plastered with this Lambert kid kissing his half male buddies, if I never see his face nor hear his name ever again it'll be way too soon.
Such a shame that such a fabulous singer such as he has such a tortured personal life at such a young age and limiting his appeal by his flaming persona, and flaunting his open homosexuality seemed to give America second thoughts. Have fun on the gay coastal club circuit Adam.

Host Ryan Seacrest said on Wednesday's finale that nearly 100 million votes were cast for the finalists. The 23-year-old Allen, a student from Conway, Ark., bested the 27-year-old Lambert, a theater actor from San Diego.
The two-hour finale included performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban.
Before the announcement, the two finalists dueted on 'We are the Champions' with the surviving members of Queen."
