2 Men Plead Guilty to Eating Family's Pet Dog -
FOXNews.com: "Two Hawaiian men pleaded guilty Wednesday to first degree animal-cruelty charges after they allegedly stole an 8-month-old puppy, took it home and butchered it, the Honolulu Advertiser reported.
In exchange for their guilty plea, police dismissed a second charge of theft against Saturnino Palting, 48, and Nelson Domingo, 49, the newspaper reported.
The pair allegedly stole the puppy, named Caddy, from the Moanalu Golf Course in December 2007, where the leashed dog was left near an equipment shack by it's owner, the Advertiser reported.
Palting and Domingo were employed by the golf course as groundskeepers."
