One or two lousy complaints and a school does away with these socials where these young kids are selling ice cream for the good of society then Yabba Dabba DOH..... some Nutrition NAZI complains and it goes POOF with no debate nor otherwise, just like the Soviet Union days....When are real American's gonna start standing up to this crap?

High school puts end to lunchtime ice cream socials:
"PEABODY, Mass. -- Students at Peabody High School are screaming for ice cream.
The monthly ice cream fundraiser that generated money for different clubs and charities was canceled by school officials because of a wellness policy.
'Apparently there's a regulation in our wellness policy that prevents an activity such as that during lunchtime,' said Edward Sapienza, Principal of Peabody High School.
He said that he was surprised to learn that serving a simple ice cream sundae was breaking the rules.
'Unfortunately, this got surfaced through the compliance of audit by the Massachusetts department of elementary and secondary education and we're bound to follow their regulations,' said Dr. Milton Burnett, Superintendent of Peabody Schools.
Burnetts said it is not just an issue of an unhealthy treat; it's also about competition because student fundraisers are not allowed to compete with the cafeteria sales.
'It seems really ridiculous,' said one student.
Principal Sapienza told 7NEWS he is determined to work with the students on a new type of fundraiser."
