This one is about preventing harm to the next generation of kids making choices that we've determined through experiences not to be beneficial to a prosperous and healthy life. And as far as this negative influence injected through television in exchange for high ratings and big dollars, we have Fox Network TV to blame for most of this cartoon crud phenomenon, some of it that is so stupid I don't even get the appeal if there really even is any. After all, it could be all hype and no one really watches them at all, who knows the real truth?
When the first foray into adult TV cartoons, the Simpsons came along, it was unique. It was the first cartoon to really attack adult things by using this clever cartoon shield as cover to say and do things that if said or done by people would be attacked by just about every group at one time or another. And that was basically what it's appeal was, hearing and seeing cartoons doing and saying things that people can't get away with these days which has now been exploited and abused far over the line by newer shows like South Park and this overly stupid, sick and lame Family Guy.
I've watched most of things enough to know about their main plots and tendencies, and only in the Simpsons' case would I let a kid of mine under 13 watch this shit. The problem is of coarse that kids way younger than that are being exposed to it online and right on TV even if the child's parents object, as you know how that goes.
All it takes is the one obnoxious "cool" kid who brings it school with his unblocked Ipod or Iphone here and there, then voila....the kids then start seeking out the so called "forbidden fruit" just like many adults still do in different ways all through the temptation which life throws ...
Once example comes to mind is this recent British story about the 12 year old kids who had a baby together, and it was worldwide news and entertainment fodder for weeks on end around the globe from the Tonight Show to the Daily Show right down to my blog and yours or others you know.
I particularly abhor any sexual depravity introduced to children indirectly or otherwise, be it through cartoons or liberal schools at too young an age without parental consent, and from what I've personally seen from this show it's way over the line for over the air
Here are the scenes culled from this again ONE SINGLE EPISODE of this prime time so called Family fare: a 5 minute disgust filled cartoon that 1o years ago would be rated X much less shown on prime time TV
Please be patient this vid is a slow load

- Lois, wearing skimpy lingerie, is turned down by her now gay husband.
- Their child, Baby Stewie, eats cereal covered with horse sperm that resembled milk kept in the refrigerator
There is a reason I stopped watching South Park. They took the Jesus character a bit too far. This makes South Park look rated G in my honest opinion.
