While Dems Demand American's Fork Over A Trillion They Party Like It's 1999

The democrats new slogan should be "the rules for me are not for thee" since they have no trouble whatsoever openly conveying their flaunting of power and influence by continually sticking it in the faces of the Americans they're trying to convince the country is in a depression worse than any time ever seen..seen any of these lately? I sure haven't.

They have a great way of showing it, don't they? Party time for these people this weekend in Williamsburg chosen no doubt to sucker some Americans into showing how patriotic they are when in fact the colonial town is now filled with luxury spa resorts like the one they are partying and staying at this weekend at the posh Kingsmill Resort & spa on we American's last dimes since we're bankrupt, right?

House Democrats Party Like Boom Times

The Sleuth: House Democrats let it all hang out last night.

They danced, sang, drank and whooped it up at their annual retreat in Williamsburg until after midnight, forgetting, for a few hours at least, the misery of the free-falling economy, punctuated by the grim news that unemployment is hurling toward Great Depression levels.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (S.C.) danced together to a blues tune performed by Reps. David Obey (Wisc.) on harmonica and John Hall (N.Y.) on guitar, eyewitnesses tell the Sleuth.

Hall, of course, is "the" John Hall, the House Democratic Caucus's legitimate rock star who co-founded the band Orleans ("Still the One," "Dance With Me"target="_blank"). Obey and Hall were joined on stage by Rep. Frank Kratovil (Md.). The band usually includes folk singer Rep. Paul Hodes of New Hampshire, but he's off and running for the Senate to replace Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.), President Obama's Commerce secretary nominee. continued
