Hope and Change Bait And Switch

I'm shocked I don't see more use of that phrase by pundits on the right because that deftly explains in no uncertain terms what the left of America was sold and bought hook line and sinker, and now in 18 short days the switch has nearly been completely implemented, and a nation hijacked from all of us thanks to just over 55% of the dumbed down 'free stuff" addicts..

Reagan's often used but apparently mis-attributed (Gerald Ford was the author, and here as well) "A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have." has now come to fruition as for the first time America fell asleep the wheel on this one and could be it's final death blow.

Now leading to this which Alexander Tytler once said (often attributed to Benjamin Franklin)

And 'The Decider' simply morphed into 'I won'; and we went from Duke Cunningham and Larry Craig without a blink to Charles Rangel cheating on his taxes, and Dodd/Frank getting low-interest loans or a great job for a partner, as they took money from Freddie/Fannie and ensured they could implode without restraint? Was that all hope-and-change was about?"

And in two weeks we went from the highest ethical standards in history to Richardson and Daschle pulling out for probable violations of the law and the new treasury secretary and de facto head of the IRS cheating on his taxes? And the secretary of labor suddenly paying off liens and lobbying for labor organizations? And ten-plus lobbyists appointed to a new no-lobbyist government? And when Hollywood used to give us movies like Rendition, and rants about Bush shredding the Constitution, what did hope-and-change give us?

More FISA, the Patriotic Act, rendition, Iraq, and another year at least of Guantanamo—all now as necessary and legitimate as it once was Hitlerian. And after eight years of "Bush is trying to terrify us" we are told that anyone not voting for a new trillion dollars of debts is ushering in catastrophe, and without sudden change California will have no farms, no agriculture even. And for the incompetent, deer-in-the-headlights Scott McClellan, we got—incompetent, deer-in-the-headlights Robert Gibbs? Was that all hope-and-change was?

Only in the Twilight Zone of which this Criminal presides are Three Republicans considered Bi Partisan

That was it and the biggest shell game of bait and switch will be completed tomorrow thanks to three gutless republicans, Arlen Specter, Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, and Olympia Snowe of Maine who Fridayt announced support for the treasury raiding measure,

Three who along with the democrats they will side with should be drug from the capital and brought before the people for treason.
