Back To The Future, As 1984 Comes Alive Here & Now

Nothing says welcome to Chicago like a surveillance camera on every single street corner and makes one really wanna walk the streets of the city knowing that your every move is being recorded and watched by the democrats in charge turning our country into the Twilight Zone and as Orwell's "1984" comes alive as tired as that comparison gets it's true and for those who've never read it you can do so here for free.

These things have their upside of coarse as a 911 operator and dispatcher as I am a few nights a week, but they can be used more nefariously than they are now and likely will be down the road once the streets become more and more desolate as people become fearful of being watched day in and minute by minute as they are presently in England. Daley loves these things more than anything as he vows to have one on every street corner.

Surveillance cams help fight crime, city says :

: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Politics: "Mayor Daley has argued that security and terrorism won’t be an issue if his Olympic dreams come true because, by 2016, there will be a surveillance camera on every street corner in Chicago.

But even before that blanket coverage begins, the “Big Brother’’ network is being put to better use.

Ready, set, stop: Red-lights could get countdown

Call takers and dispatchers now see real-time video if there is a surveillance cameras within 150 feet of a 911 call, thanks to a $6 million upgrade to the city’s “computer-aided dispatch” system.

When live video appears, call takers can pan, tilt and zoom those cameras to get the best possible view of a crime or disaster scene.

“As a first responder, I can’t tell you how important it is to have a set of eyes on an emergency scene prior to your arrival. The valuable information they provide from the camera network can ultimately mean the difference between life and death,” said Ray Orozco, executive director of the city’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications.

“Whether you send one ambulance or three, two squad cars or four, it all depends upon the information we are able to gather from the 911 call" continued
