We Knew This Travolta Second Guessing Was Coming

Scientology prevents (or at least it's tenents of faith forbid) pharmaceutical and even medical intervention when a person practicing is felled with certain diseases and ailments which I myself find kind of witch "doctorish" myself along with the entire cult, particularly as a man with Multiple Sclerosis who takes the medication daily that likely may have saved this young man's life in the eyes of many, including me. That would be anti seizure medications that include dilantin, phenobarbital and Neurontin, which is the medication I've taken for years to lessen a painful neurological activity that occurs in the nervous systems of MS sufferers like myself, prickling, burning, or throbbing pains due to “short circuiting” of the nerves that carry sensation.

However I'm not a father and do not profess to know the first thing about Jett Travolta other than what we are vicariously being told by the media, whom I believe about one tenth of which they relay and report in this post Obama propaganda era which they've sadly lost most all serious news credibility. So we'll simply have to see how this all plays out if it's any of our business in the first place, and if indeed it is fair to blame the Travolta's practicing Scientology as a contributing factor in their sons premature and quite untimely death, if at all.

But that media is basically outright blaming him and Kelly Preston, his wife and Jett's mother for the death entirely.

An autism activist, who spoke on the condition that her name not be revealed, said anti-seizure medication could have controlled the attacks that cops said John Travolta's son was prone to suffering.

Police said Jett, 16, had a seizure Friday that led him to fall and hit his head on a bathtub in a Bahamas hotel.

It is not known if he was taking medication.

But the church to which his parents are devoted would have discouraged the use of any medication for the seizures that affect 25 percent of teen autistic suffers, said Scientology experts.

And his parents have repeatedly denied their son could have autism - an illness the church says doesn't exist.

"I believe this is something that was totally avoidable," said the autism activist, who asked not to be identified by name because she says she has a friendship with Travolta's brother, Joey.

"There were such clear indications that this kid had autism," she said. "It's bothered me for years.

"The irony is not lost that Joey has committed his life to working with autism and disabilities, and his brother, for religious reasons, would let this happen.

"Joey tries to be as supportive of his brother's choices as he can be, but this has really upset me."

According to the Church of Scientology, people with disabilities like autism are classified as "degraded" and capable of curing themselves by working harder on the church's teachings.
