So this monnong now comes a story fit for a prime time sitcom more than real life, where a 14 year old kid suits up in what musthave been a reasonable replica of a policemans uniform and pretends he's a Chicago cop for a few hours over the weekend, even getting a work assignment before some brain surgeon down there finally figures out that the "new rookie" hasn't even reached puberty yet, much less be a real cop!!
You'd think this story would deserve front page recognition but no, I'm afraid that's not the case here in the old windy city of weirdness, which by the way isn't called that because of the high winds and weather related reasons, but instead for it's blustery political scene full of hot air. One that now the whole country will be getting blown by with yet another impostor posing as a high official, this one named Obama who's all dressed up and playing president, yet sadly half the country hasn't figured out they too now have a boy doing a man's job and that is not a joke like this one turned out to be, either so funny to we citizens paying top dollar taxes for a city and country now being run like a third rate banana republic.
Here's a pic snapped as the new rookie prepared to start his new beat, taken just before being spotted by his mother and embarrassingly dragged home and grounded for leaving their neighborhood again to play policeman, with his his new puzzled and unsuspecting partner in the background.
Feel any safer today do you fellow Chicagoans? It can't be any worse than having that boy king Messiah running the country down in Washington that's for damn sure. I'd more trust a kid running the show who is smart enough to outsmart a bunch of professional cops for even 10 minutes, much less as long as this kid managed to fool these real "top notch" coppers.
I have all the respect in the world for all first responders who serve and protect us daily, but I'm sorry, this bunch deserves some ridicule for not knowing the cops in their own station house number one. You would think a new guy on the force would ring some bells, and I really don't buy how one officer interviewed says "he looked older than 14"!
This is their job, to tell bad guys from the good guys, and they failed that test on this one I'm afraid,a nd in a big way.
Teen posing as a Chicago cop charged as juvenile :
CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Chicago Crime: "A 14-year-old boy was charged with false impersonation of a police officer after entering a South Side police station in full uniform Saturday and “reporting for duty.”
The teen, who has been charged as a juvenile, entered the Grand Crossing District police station dressed in regulation uniform and “claimed to be a police officer reporting for duty,” police spokeswoman Monique Bond said.
The teen was with another police officer for some time, but at no time was behind the wheel of a squad car, Bond said.
A Grand Crossing District sergeant later questioned the boy and learned that he was not a police officer.
The teen is a “police explorer and has familiarity with the police,” Bond said. The Police Explorer program is part of CAPS and gives young people ages 12-17 “first-hand experience interacting with the community and the police department,” according to the City of Chicago website.
The boy was not armed and the situation is being probed with Internal Affairs, Bond said."
