"Scranton Joe" Not The Only One Denied A Seat At The Theater

Joe Biden was denied a seat a the movie theater as we blogged below, while Roland Burris was also denied a seat at a different theater, "The Theater of The Absurd", also known as the US Senate. As most now know, 71 year old Illinois career politician Roland "Monument" Burris was injected into the spotlight this past week by accepting the racially motivated offer of Obama's tainted Senate seat from scandal drowning Hot Rod Blagojevich. In my opinion it's a senate seat that's been tainted ever since Obama was elected to it, and then abandoning it almost immediately to run for president against his promise to Illinoisans dumb enough to vote for him that he wouldn't do so.

Surprise there? Not to me. Obama's been lying successfully all his life to himself and anyone else who will listen.

So it was quite obvious Blagojevich picked Burris to mess with the Obama administration and force the US Senate to reveal their true colors by sending Burris to the back of the bus like they've done all along to their black constituents throughout America's history. Even against the outright threats of professional racist and illustrious Illinois congressman/Black Panther Bobby Rush Reid sent a woman secretary to do the dirty work sending Burris back to Chicago for the time being at least while the Senate Highbrows try to figure out how not to look as racist as they now do.

So Reid claims that he did not send this racially biased letter to Blag as claimed and reported, obviously betting that Americans won't ever hear the wiretaps of Blago's little Senate Ebay auction and subsequently Reid's demands to not send a black man up to Washington for fear of their un electability in the re election bid forthcoming for whoever finally takes the tainted seat.

: The Swamp: "Roland Burris of Illinois, rejected in his attempt to take a new seat in the Senate this morning, averted any public showdown by quietly accepting the refusal of his credentials inside the Secretary of the Senate's office on the third floor of the Capitol.

'My name is Roland Burris, the junior Senator from the State of Illinois,' Burris told reporters later as he stood in the rain in a park outside the Capitol. 'I was advised that my credentials were not in order.'

The former attorney general of Illinois said he would take legal action, challenging the Senate's refusal, but averted any showdown at the door of the Senate chambers. 'I am not seeking to have any kind of confrontation,' Burris added.

Off the Capitol grounds where his entry to the Senate had been refused, Burris was left to his own - the Capitol police who had escorted him away from the Capitol leaving him to a press conference in the park.

A podium was set up in a park across the street from the Capitol outside the Russell Office Building.

Timothy W. Wright, a lawyer for Burris, said: 'We have presented our credentials to the Secretary of the Senate... Our credentials were rejected by the secretary... We were not allowed to proceed to the floor... '' He, too, vowed to fight the case." continued
