Obamagasm Alert: Iconic Obama The Greatest Man In The World, Who's Accomplished The Least

Better set aside some stimulus money to pay for the removal of all this Obama is the greatest" paraphernalia when he turns out to be at the most another politician who's only significant accomplishment turns out to be the first non Caucasian president elected to office. A great feat to many that will be diminished once people wake up from their Obamagasms and realize the man is a mere mortal if that, and the only change we'll see will be what's left of our retirement accounts and after tax income once this insurmountable spending spree he and Pelosi are planning destroys what's left of American financial leadership in the world, not to mention final bankruptcy of the nation from coast to coast.

So the Smithsonian has joined the "jump the gun" party already adding the Obama portrait to their presidential gallery, and the man hasn't even been inaugurated yet but has been anointed as the greatest president to ever walk the earth by these pathetic and sad Obamorons.

Took Bush 8 years and every other previous president at least a full term for his portrait to be added to the collection, but Obama is.."ooh the greatest thing since sliced bread and the gay bathhouse" according to the usual peanut gallery. So they chuck this very basic rule of thumb just for the Messiah. (think we might have a liberal partisan making this decision? No way)

Typically, the gallery acquires official portraits of presidents as they are leaving office, and an official Obama portrait will be added later. A portrait of President George W. Bush was unveiled at the gallery in December.

So much for that protocol and history, as Obama gets one now, and one later too? The liberal portion of this country has lost it's collective minds, whatever that amounts to, after 8 years of Bush hating they'll embrace anything or anyone with a "D" in front of their names, hence the Obama mistake in the first place that the country may never recover from intact..

Iconic Obama portrait headed to Smithsonian museum

WASHINGTON — Even before he takes office, President-elect Barack Obama’s image will become part of the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery, the museum announced today.

The gallery acquired the iconic red, white and blue collage by Los Angeles street artist Shepard Fairey, depicting Obama with the word “Hope.” The image — later modified with the messages of “Change” and “Vote” for the Obama campaign — became one of the most memorable images from the 2008 election. The curators at the Smithsonian Institution museum plan to hang it by Inauguration Day.

“What I think is so fascinating is the ubiquitous nature,” said Carolyn Carr, deputy director of the Portrait Gallery. “When people think of a portrait of Obama, they think of this image.”

Get a grip lady. At least the money was donated by an obvious Obama liberal sycophant instead of our tax dollars paying the freight for this piece of work.

Gallery officials would not reveal how much they paid Fairey for the five-foot tall, mixed-media stenciled collage. Art collectors Heather and Tony Podesta of Washington donated money for the Smithsonian to purchase the work.
