Man arrested in Christmas Eve church attack

Prince George's County Police arrested 28-year-old Shanon Washington of Capitol Heights on New Year's Day.
Washington is charged with attempted murder, assault and robbery in the attack on 69-year-old Wayne Williams in the parking lot of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Williams' son Jonathan says his dad is 'recovering very well' after the attack.
'It's unbelievevable that something like this would happen to him,' he says.
Williams had just dropped off his wife - who was singing in the choir during midnight Mass - when he was attacked.
Police say Washington has an extensive criminal history."
