Jan. 29: Speaking at his impeachment trial, Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich says there is no evidence to back the criminal allegations brought against him, and that audio recordings presented show only what all politicians do to win elections.

I'm beginning to agree with that statement after listening to this admittedly wacky Governor and I am no fan of this man at all and never voted for him, and physically worked against both his campaigns for the governorship.

And this segment of his speech just completed really has me questioning that almost every single US politician would fail this test that they've used on him in this proceeding, every single one.

After all, when one really gets down to the facts, the guy has not done anything that any other politician does to get themselves elected as he states. And he hasn't even been indicted yet for anything so they are really throwing an innocent man out of office based solely on Patrick Fitzgerald's press conference!! Those are the facts. Just imagine what Obama promised other politicians for their support and the horsetrading that goes on daily and hourly in the different state houses and government buildings around the country.

Let's just say I agree with his statement in this section of his speech and many other parts of it as well, and I have come to the conclusion that this impeachment and throwing him out of office is premature. He's even accused of less than what Bill Clinton did to get impeached, he committed a felony and still remained president. They could impeach him and yet wait until he's officially charged with something to actually remove him from office

This man has not committed any crime of which he has been charged and much less convicted. Even Judge Napolitano just stated minutes ago this morning on Fox News that he would not find this man guilty of anything from the evidence presented thus far, and I agree.

Under this low standard we might be able to get Obama impeached come 2010 for just about anything that he does wrong and I'm betting if removed , Blagojevich will cut a deal and Obama and friends are in deep shit up chit creek without a paddle
